OPPORTUNITY |
|
I have started several companies from the ground up. This has required me to be self-motivated and resourceful. It has also provided real life, real world, hands-on experience in many varied tasks. This continuous OJT (On the Job Training) has given me not only a breadth of applicable experience, but more importantly, encouraged me to always be ready to adapt and help build others to support the growth and mission of the company.
Throughout the years, there is very little I have not had to do. From developing custom software to developing curriculum, from installing phone systems, to setting up processes and systems to run every department that comes along in the growth phases of companies. From Continuing Medical Education (CME) and a Human Resources department to in-house fleet maintenance facilities. I have always introduced novel approaches along the way, and developed staff to take over functions to monitor and improve the systems I put in place. In a nutshell, I have pretty much done it all. What I lack in experience, I make up for in tenacity, collaboration, and immersion in learning. I work well on my own, but work just as well with others, preferring to work in a collaborative environment. There are very few challenges I am unwilling to take on, and my father will tell you I have always been that way. |

| Seasonal Driver (Service Provider) | ||
|
In 3 words: The UPS Guy. If you have ever interacted with a UPS Driver, or signed for a package, then you have some idea what I did. Although the position was seasonal, I had every and all responsibilities associated with being a driver.
Using "Courteous Urgency", I was responsible for all aspects of my route (62A) which had a heavy concentration of businesses. I built and maintained rapport and handled problems that arose from time to time. This was a challenging and physically intense position. I gave many suggestions for improvement to UPS as a result of my observations. - |

Also was the original provider of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for the Multiple Sclerosis 150-mile City-To-Shore bike ride which originally had more crewmembers than participants, and eventually grew into a renowned cycling event with thousands of participants. Centia Real Estate Services |
February, 1999 - June, 2009 |
|
| Founder, President, And CEO | ||
I initially started my real estate career as a sole agent at a franchise brokerage. I developed the first real estate team at that brokerage, and then our team was recruited to help launch a new franchise opening in the area. I was given several leadership opportunities at the new office, including ownership, serving on the Agent Leadership Council (ALC), chairing the Technology Committee, and teaching all new incoming agents regionally at Career Launch. The Team then went out on its own and formed its own brokerage. This involved daily challenges in creating and maintaining all aspects of running a growing organization as well as developing compliance programs to deal with legal and risk management issues. - |
